ABOUT MILFORD ON SEA PILATES

Following a career in sports massage in physiotherapy clinics in the French Alps and London, I trained as a Pilates Instructor with the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates in London.

Initially teaching at Southfields Physiotherapy in 2014, I moved home to Milford on Sea in 2015 and set up my own Pilates business. 

As well as my sports massage diploma, I am also 10 years qualified as a teacher in the ancient chinese discipline of Chi Kung (Qigong).

I took a short break for the birth of my daughter in 2016 and then returned to teach Pilates privately and at Lymington Health and Leisure.

I'm passionate about bringing movement to all people and am the eternal student continually learning through Polestar Pilates and my colleagues.

Pilates is one of the fastest growing forms of exercise. Developed from the rehabilitation and physical therapy techniques of Joseph Pilates. It is an intelligent and scientifically proven form of exercise with emphasis on breathing, balanced spinal movement, concentration, core control and full body alignment.

The quality of movement is valued over the quantity of movement. Pilates teaches us to be body aware ,breathe efficiently, move with little effort, concentrate better and develop a healthy body and mind.
